# 6xs turns itself on

My Inkbird 6xs 6 probe BBQ thermometer turns itself on and bleeps regularly after I turn it off. It works fine with probes in but discharges the battery when ‘OFF’.
It’s either a 6xs or and older version, the 6 sided puck type.
Any suggestions, especially fixes?
